Overview:
Deutsche Bank's Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) division comprises three businesses - Markets, Corporate Finance and Global Transaction Banking.

CIB Markets in Birmingham is looking for Trading Support for its European Credit Trading team.

Deutsche Bank Global Credit (GC) makes markets in the full range of credit products including bonds, credit derivatives and structured credit products. Our unique approach and integrated business structure facilitate the design of truly innovative solutions, creating a world leading credit business across flow, structured, long-dated and illiquid assets.

Key Responsibilities:
*Support the senior traders to reduce Risk and P/L impact of incorrect trade bookings and incorrect static data.
*Reconciliation reporting and trade instruction generation.
*Data collection, spreadsheet maintenance, small scale data-basing.
*Trade booking reconciliation - tracking amends and chasing Finance/Middle Office to correct tickets.
*Set-up and maintenance of static data for bonds and Credit Default Swap (CDS) for the desk as a whole.
*Automation of processes and systems improvement to enhance efficiency.

You will have:
*A strong finance/Information Technology (IT)/mathematics background through relevant undergraduate studies.
*Advanced Excel Skills, the ability to write Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for excel, interface through vba with html/outlook/word/internal databases and build small scale databases within excel and automate the creation of reports and the collation of data.
*Settlements/Middle office experience.
*A keen understanding and interest in Finance and Markets.
*Superior communication skills (written and verbal) with strict attention to detail.

*Highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
*Diligent, efficient and able to manage multiple conflicting deliverables including working under pressure.
*Comfortable in a technical environment.
