Trading Technologist – Leading Hedge Fund recruitment
An excellent opportunity for an exceptional programmer with an interest in technology to merge their skills with exposure to the business side and live trading environment.
You will become a key member of the trading technologist’s team within the larger core trading team.
The responsibilities of the role will cover real time problem solving of trading issues in a mission critical environment and ensuring the systematically generated trading signals are efficiently executed in the marketplace. You will be interacting with teams involved with all aspects of the business to solve wide ranging trading related issues arising from the entire trade lifecycle.
We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of problem solving under pressure and who will actively strive to identify and utilise technology to resolve, prevent or reduce the impact of issues.
The successful candidate will be a confident individual with a strong personality who can communicate clearly and effectively, with a desire for solving issues with technology. Other prerequisites would be attention to detail and a solid understanding of financial markets. Experience in the front office environment is required and exposure to the full trade lifecycle is a benefit.
