The Traffic Marketing Coordinator’s primary role is to coordinate and ensure smooth workflow within the marketing and creative teams. They will be the driving force in creating and following a time and events schedule, circulate jobs through the system, reach deadlines and follow up with each team member and stakeholders throughout all phases of each job. They will work with the marketing and creative teams to support all brands and channels, maintain work flow, create schedules, identify problems and offer process solutions. The Traffic/Marketing Coordinator will also project manage and support some marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

·         Create timelines, schedule projects, and manage team member’s workload through all phases of production.

·         Traffic projects through strategy, creative, copy, proofing, programming or printing, and QA. 

·         Set up and administer electronic project management system. 

·         Work with the Director of Marketing and the Creative Director to prioritize the activities of the Creative department, and make adjustments as deadlines change and new work is introduced

·         Simultaneously handle multiple stakeholders and projects.

·         Execute traffic meetings where everyone understands their roles and responsibilities along with the timing of their respective tasks for jobs in various stages.

·         Proofing projects and implementing procedures.

·         Source vendors and suppliers.

·         Maintain job folders and documentation, including sign-offs, printed samples, vendor information and copies of related invoices.

·         Project managing and supporting some marketing projects and customer communication pieces across all channels

 

Skills and Qualifications:

·         2-3 years of work experience in marketing on agency or client side 

·         Excellent communicator: written and verbal

·         Strong understanding of design and production for Web and print

·         Strong organization and time management skills

·         Attention to detail

·         Ability to create and implement process

·         Ability to prioritize and quickly adjust priorities as needed

·         Ability to adapt to rapidly changing projects and timelines

·         Mac proficient, Microsoft office/Excel skills

·         Experience with Adobe CS4 and CS5 an asset

·         Understanding of web design process, language and industry standards

·         Exceptional oral and written English skills; ability to proofread

·         Bilingualism (English/French) preferred

·         Passion for travel an asset

 

Compensation:

You would earn a competitive base salary plus bonuses. You would enjoy 3 weeks of vacation in your first year with the company and 4 weeks in the second year. You also would be entitled to full health and dental benefits.
