Traffic/Routing Associate
Goya Foods, Inc., a leader in the food industry based in Bollingbrook, Illinois is seeking a Routing Associate to provide technical in the routing of deliveries schedules and administrative support to the General Manager and to various members of the Traffic staff.
Job Summary:
Develops and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency. Selects appropriate delivery methods to minimize delivery costs and maximize customer satisfaction. Responsible for the organization, scheduling of Independent drivers, and directing of the warehouse/traffic operation on a day-to-day work plan. Adjust schedules as necessary in both shipping and receiving areas, responsible for order accuracy, productivity levels, and Coordinate warehouse activities under the direction of the General Manager.
Preferred qualifications: Associates degree from College or Technical school; or one to three years of related experience and/or training. Knowledge of Lawson and “Road Net”.
