Trainee Accountant
The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, our client, a well established financial services firm, has a rare vacancy for a Trainee Accountant at their London office.
Main responsibilities:
* Bookkeeping and accounts preparation
* Assisting with preparation of financial statements
* Basic management reporting
* General administration of various structures
* Maintaining appropriate databases
Your Profile
The client is looking to meet with recent graduates with 6 months+ basic accounting experience. The client is open on the sector in which you have gained the experience, although small-medium sized practice experience would be desirable. Ideally, you will be looking to start the ACCA, or will be at the very beginning of the qualification. You will be expected to have a strong record of academic achievement along with a numerate degree from a top tier university. Strong interpersonal skills are a must as you will be dealing with senior management on a day to day basis. The client will offer full study support for the ACCA. Please bear in mind, the client is not a fund manager, so are not looking for someone who is studying or intending to study the CFA.
