Trainee Ledger Clerk

My client is a large manufacturing company based in the heart of Doncaster.  They are looking to recruit a trainee ledger clerk to start at the bottom and work their way up.

Initially this is a temporary position for approximately 3 months but for the right candidate there is the possibility it will be extended.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career within a finance and accounting function.

You will be required to assist the current purchase ledger team with the incoming and outgoing post. Register, scan and pass invoices, deal with internal customers and external suppliers and process work with team members to ensure any day to day tasks are completed.

Along side assisting with the purchase ledger team you will be required to complete general office duties.· Assisting with the post on a daily basis, registering, scanning and passing of invoices and providing assistance to team members as necessary.

You will be required to deal with internal queries, and will liaise with other departments to resolve any queries as necessary.

You must have some experience of working within an accounting function and this must be relevant and up to date.  My client is looking for someone who has the right attitude and is willing to learn and who is looking to get their career off to a flying start.
