TRAINEE MARKETING MANAGER recruitment

Core Responsibilities:

Provide periodic and ad-hoc reviews of the institutional savings market in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa; undertake specific market analysis for the Marketing Director; monitor media and other sources for market intelligence, helping to identify trends and prospects.
Co-ordinate the provision of information reporting to prospects and consultants, via written reports.
Work closely with product groups to develop and deliver suitable marketing materials.
Maintain and expand investment knowledge and develop a detailed understanding of the company’s capabilities and business in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Assist with the co-ordination of marketing activities for the company sponsored conferences, product road shows, seminars etc.

Core Skills: 

Candidates should have strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
The ability to work well on their own initiative as well as part of a team is also essential.

Core Requirements:

Applicants should be educated to degree level with a minimum 2 years’ experience in financial services marketing, sales, or sales support.
Experience of the European fund market would be useful.
Foreign language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
The ability to relate to people at all different levels within the firm, and externally, is essential.
Investment qualifications (e.g. Investment Management Certificate or Chartered Financial Analyst) would be beneficial, but are not essential.
