IB HR – Compensation/Analytics Analyst – NY recruitment

Support and help drive the agenda of the Investment Bank Compensation/ HR Analytics function.
Perform a variety of compensation analytics, including providing guidance to HR management regarding compensation actions for employees, administering/coordinating annual compensation planning processes. Report and analyze internal and external market compensation and identify workforce trends.
Provide analytic support to HR colleagues to better support workforce decision making.

Specifically, the successful candidate will:Participate in determining the appropriate level of incentive compensation funding required each yearProvide annual compensation planning and administration support, involving coordination across multiple lines of business, and working closely with HR LOB Compensation Managers and Finance colleagues.Participate in compensation and headcount surveys.Provide counsel to HR partners about compensation decisions; interpretation and application of policies, and executive compensation plans.Actively lead and/or participate in Investment Bank and firm-wide projects involving compensation, including changes in compensation practices and systems development.Provide Analytic Support to HR Professionals with timely, accurate, comprehensive, and easy-to-use MIS to achieve firm/business People goals, and to improve decision making.Participate in product maintenance, enhancements, and development of HR MIS reports and applications.Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and devise ways to streamline/enhance/automate analytic reports.Educate HR Professional on applications and promote end user self reliance.Provide analytic support for HR special projects and initiatives (e.g., promotion cycles, MD selection, evaluation ratings)Project management as assigned for enhancements to data capture and reporting (e.g. drive changes to HR MIS tools).

Qualifications
Typically 2 years of HR/Compensation or Finance experience, with strong analytical and data/information management skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g. Excel) is required.Some working knowledge of Business Objects (Deski or Webi) with the willingness to learn and become an expert with the application is a must.Strong interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills.Desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple priorities.Prior experience in the Investment Banking industry is ideal, but not mandatory.JP Morgan Chase Co. offers an exceptional benefits program and a highly competitive compensation package.
