Trainee Trader / Trade Analyst – Grains (Futures)
Our Client is a key player in the Commodity Trading Market. They have a position supporting the Commodity Trading team based in Singapore. As an experienced Trade Analyst you will support the head of the Grain trading desk, who will mentor you and asses you potential to move into a Trading role.
The Position:
· Work with middle Office to prepare/check cash position report, paper trades, give-ups and PL.
· Execute futures orders on CBOT for various trading desks in Singapore and the region
· Develop good understanding and inter-relationship of futures/derivatives in order to execute CBOT orders well.
You:
· Excellent numerical and analytical skills, proficient with Excel. Accounting background is a plus.
· Prefer 2-3 years of experience in commodities business (prefer Grain) and ready to work night shift on rotation basis
· You MUST HAVE excellent understanding of Futures and Options from a Trade Support perspective gained in a Commodity Trading House or Bank.
