Trainer II, Operations Support
Responsibilities:
The primary role of the Trainer Analyst is to develop and deliver training curriculum built from a culture of continuous process improvement to meet the needs of our managers and associates in our warehouses and cross docks. Plans and organizes training to meet the needs of the field organization. Tracks, evaluates and reports training progress to facility leaders. Recommends new or changes to existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Conducts field audits by functional area, receiving, production, inventory control, shipping, etc. Must have a strong working knowledge of WMS/IMS and order entry systems. Works with multiple corporate channels (Information Technology, Project Management teams, Inventory Planners etc,) to test and implement new processes and/or system enhancements. Position necessitates self managing, which requires strong Operating and Time Management skills. When necessary, may be asked to assume a temporary leadership role. Ability to travel 80%.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement training curriculum conducive to warehouse operations.
•Recommend changes, updates and audit facilities SOPs.
•Work with multiple channels to test and implement system and process changes.
•Ability to work with and understand multiple warehouse systems and order entry platforms
•Track, evaluate and report training progress
•Plan and organize training to meet the needs of the client group
•Conduct post training audits.
•Partner with facility leaders to analyze operational deficiencies, observe process and procedures in key functional areas, and make recommendation for process change.
•Partner with facility leaders with action plans from operational and SOP reviews. (
•Implement action plans based on identified operational needs, to include process changes, system enhancements, recommended training.
•When necessary, assume temporary leadership role to ensure appropriate customer service levels are maintained.
•Ensure timelines and schedules are adhered to.
