Trainer, Technical Sales

Job Overview
This customer facing position based at our Heathrow Offices provides pre-sales support and advice to all channels for the complete range of equipment manufactured by Security Products and specifically the access control and video ranges. The successful candidate will prepare for and deliver high-quality technical presentations and live product demonstrations as well as managing and maintaining the Showroom technical facilities. Other aspects of the role include pre-sales support, developing viable solutions to project requirements, attending exhibitions and trade show activities and assisting with other pre-sales activities.
Education Experience Requirements
BSc Computer Science, Electrical Engineering with relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and job experience.
Proven experience of working with external customers in a technical supporting role.

Job Responsibilities
As a Trainer, Technical Sales, the successful candidate will have the responsibility for:
Liaising with all customer channels including internal sales, business partners, consultants, distributors and end users.
Providing pre-sales support and advice on the complete range of equipment manufactured by Security Products with particular emphasis on the access control and video ranges.
Preparing for and delivering high-quality technical presentations and live product demonstrations using both face to face meetings and webinars.
Managing and maintaining the technical facilities in the Showroom at our Heathrow offices.
Working with customers to offer pre-sale support and advice and to develop viable solutions for their project requirements.
Representing Security Products at exhibition and trade show activities.
Contributing to Security Products' product launches.
Assisting with other pre-sales activities.
Working effectively with all other teams.
Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all TST deliverables.
Location
The job will be based in our offices near Heathrow, London. Some travel may be required. While the amount of travel may vary it is currently expected to be minimal as the role is primarily office based.
