Training and Development Manager recruitment
Supporting our Managers , the Training and Development Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of all training and the management of the professional development of employees.
Key Accountabilities
• Accurately identify training needs through thorough training needs analysis
• Design, develop and deliver training and development programmes in line with organisational and individual needs
• Develop, communicate and champion the training and development strategy
• Develop and deliver effective induction programmes for employees of all levels ensuring new starters are successful and retention rates are maintained to satisfactory levels
• Actively demonstrate effective client relationship skills to others by regularly participating in client visits
• Build working relationships with 3rd Party Suppliers, recruitment and technology specific
• Effectively coach and mentor junior members of staff, individuals and teams as required
• Manage and take responsibility of the training and development budget ensuring ROI is regularly assessed
• Provide reports and analysis on all training and development activity as required
• Conduct performance appraisals and produce individual PDP’s
• Engage all internal stakeholders and achieve buy in across the business
• Utilise advancements in technology to provide effective training and development programmes e.g. e-learning
• Ensure statutory training requirements are met and a best practice approach is followed
• Keep accurate employee training records and work in partnership with the HR manager to provide employees with the necessary skills, knowledge and attitude in order to perform to their best ability within their roles
Role Requirements
• Has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Recruitment Industry, the Financial Services sector and ability to demonstrate a proven track record within the Recruitment Industry
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
• Is results driven and demonstrates enthusiasm for achieving goals
• Is an effective problem solver with good organisation and planning skills
• Is a confident facilitator with excellent presentation skills
• Can demonstrate measurable results and ROI
• Has previous coaching and training experience gained within the Recruitment Industry
• Has a very good knowledge and understanding of IT and various IT packages available from a training and development perspective
• Formal training qualifications would be desirable
