Overview: The Training Development Specialist is responsible for designing and delivering customer and employee training programs that create a competitive advantage for TCGRx. Works closely with technical subject matter experts to design and implement cost effective solutions for TCGRx and our customers.
Experience Necessary (applicants only): Hands-on experience developing and delivering classroom and online training programs. Proven success in educating and motivating others with passion and enthusiasm.
Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Conducts needs analyses and validates need for training
• Identifies learning objectives partnering with customers and support staff to develop products to address identified and prioritized training needs
• Designs, develops and maintains educational support material including curriculum presentations, workbooks, handouts and computer based training programs targeted at improving end user adoption, performance, quality, productivity and overall customer satisfaction with TCGRXs suite of products
• Develops and conducts “Train the Trainer” curriculum and support materials to ensure customers can sustain their level of proficiency
• Effectively manages allotted budget and identifies opportunities to improve efficiencies and effectiveness
• Effectively delivers training solutions based on thorough analysis, market awareness and audience knowledge
• Develops and encourages industry expertise and best practices
Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Thorough knowledge of the training (assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation) and adult learning principles
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products and instructional design platforms
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• 2-5+ years training and development experience preferably in a business and/or healthcare environment
• Experience with web based and/or computer based training systems
• Some travel throughout North America will be required to meet business needs
