Training Manager- SaaS recruitment
This position will be responsible for managing and conducting the training of our clients and partners. The Specialist will also be responsible for serving as a knowledgeable resource to other business units regarding clients, process, best practices and product usage. This position plays a critical role in building and sustaining customer and partner relationships while driving the adoption of our solutions. The Specialist will work closely with the Services and Sales teams to understand and assess technical requirements, prepare and deliver product demonstrations, and address technical questions that arise throughout the sales process. Candidates must be able to articulate technical concepts to both business and technical users, and evoke confidence in their products. This position is client-facing and requires heavy interaction with clients. Prior experience in a similar role is mandatory. Travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Professional Services, Sales and Marketing to obtain information required to develop training materials on all aspects of the product
- Develop, organize and conduct in-depth technical training for their Product Suite
- Develop and maintains training content – syllabi, handouts, outlines, agendas, e-learning solutions and videos
- Builds and conducts training and train-the-trainer programs
- Tailors training content based on trainee’s (customers, partners and employees) specific needs
- Ensures new training methodologies incorporated into training approach
- Incorporates motivating, creative, and interactive training techniques to enhance the training experience, in an effort to maximize learning and retention
- Delivers Training Programs / Modules based on training plan requirements and according to a client-driven schedule
Experience
- 7+ years of Technical training in a Software-as-a-Service environment
- Prior experience with building and delivering technical training programs for complex business-class software is required
- Good working knowledge and understanding of software development technologies
- Ability to champion initiatives and new innovations that align with corporate growth projections
- Technical development system deployment in a SaaS Provider environment
- Technical Writing experience a plus
- Great communication, collaboration, and flexibility to work with internal groups and external users
- Excellent Presentation skills
- Self-starting, motivated, hardworking, and needs to be very flexible
- Knowledge of the Private Equity/Financial Markets
- Strong Analytical/Reporting Skills
