Training Specialist

The successful candidate will support the work stream lead in the development and delivery of IAR training (and communications deliverables as appropriate).

The role will initially last for approximately 11 months between June 2015 and March 2016.

The successful candidate will support in the development and delivery of the IAR training (and communications deliverables where required).
• Oversee the development and delivery of the technical training for all relevant staff both within and outside UK.
• Co-ordinate input from the technical experts within the IAR Programme and ensure that this is accurately portrayed in the output from the training design support team.
• Prepare decks where required to ensure progress can be reported on and ad-hoc requests for information can be delivered in a timely manner.
• Prepare and distribute communications of key messages being delivered by the team to the wider company.
• Represent the work stream lead at committees when required
• Provide input into senior management briefings with a IAR nexus
• Ensure consistency of messaging in training and communications which are being distributed across the bank.

Key Accountabilities/Deliverables

• Ensure all training is identified and delivered in a timely manner.
• Oversee the development of the technical content for the afore-mentioned training
• Ensure regular updates are provided to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop tailored communication materials to ensure consistent messaging to all stakeholders

The role will be responsible for monitoring the deliverables against the required timelines.

• Experience working in a Training function
• Knowledge to clearly and concisely articulate key messages concerning IAR across the business.
• Good team-working and inter-personal skills to collaborate effectively to achieve results.
• Strong ability to network to facilitate and assist with deliverables and outputs
• Outcome focussed – analytical ability to make decisions and develop outcomes combined with a practical approach
• Demonstrated ability to develop and train staff on the job
• Excellent stakeholder management.
