The training specialist role facilitates learning and performance solutions for front-line operations employees utilizing various learning methodologies in a manner that both engages the learner and produces desired outcomes for Mail business units. The training specialist aligns learning solutions to learner needs and is responsible for creating a positive learning climate that result in achieving desired business goals. The training specialist evaluates existing learning solutions for continuous improvement and promotes, develops, and preserves professional relationships with all site personnel.
Interested applicants must be able to travel to various market areas to support multiple business sites. This position may require up to 50% travel.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Will consider a combination of education and relevant business experience. Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred or able to obtain certification within 6-months.
0-2 years experience in delivering adult learning programs utilizing a variety of learning methods; facilitation certification a plus. Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies. Prior knowledge of healthcare and PBM industry preferred.
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills; understanding of adult learning theory and application in a variety of delivery environments; Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects; Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills; Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook preferred. Demonstrates ASTD basic competencies for work place learning and performance;
