TRANSACTION CONTROL EXPERT
Key responsibilities:
- Engagement and coordination of projects regarding incoming clients/processes/solutions in the team/section;
- Supporting team(s) in unusual/non-standard situations demanding broad knowledge and experience in Fund Administration
- Supporting and coordinating tests in relation to new processes, new versions of the fund accounting system and other systems as applicable
- Detailed analysis of the controls in place and their improvement
- Increasing efficiency of current processes through f.eg. automation or improvement initiatives as well as setup of new processes in the teams’
- Assisting in preparation of MIS reporting for the teams and assist in enhancing this process as applicable.
- Liaison with Auditors acting as substantial expert and/or representing teams during business meetings or teleconferences
- Management of project resources in larger projects
- Engagement in departmental and cross departmental projects and initiatives
- Preparation of ad-hoc analyses and reports
- Acting as manager's back-up when deemed necessary
Knowledge/Experience:
- Excellent command of English
- Master's or bachelor's degree, preferred in Accounting or Economics,
- Knowledge of accounting rules and capital markets ,
- At least 2 years’ experience in Operations, preferably in SFS,
- Knowledge of capital markets and Fund Accounting rules,
- Knowledge on SFS products and value chains,
- Experience/previous assignments in improvement and implementation projects
