Transaction Reporting Manager recruitment
Macquarie is looking for a transaction reporting specialist. The key focus of this role is the provision of transaction data to the FSA. The successful candidate will be expected to
review and test data regularly, implementing controls and checks to ensure all information provided to the FSA is accurate.
Currently transaction reporting is sitting within each individual business unit, this newly created role will sit across all business units and will be focused solely on transaction reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and build the analysis tools required to analyse transaction data and produce reports for the FSA
- To define and build internal reconciliations looking for completeness, including intern coes and reconcile back to sending systems
- To define and build reconciliations back to the FSA data.
- Manage the system strategy for Transaction Reporting and the work schedule from a business perspective.
- Lead the working group for Transaction reporting to the steering committee
- Create an MIS pack for review by senior management on a monthly basis for across the firm and for each business
Skills required:
- A deep understanding of the transaction reporting rules and their application to the various business and products.
- An understanding of the use of Databases and query tools
- Ability to define their own work.
- Self motivated
- Ability to question facts and numbers
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate with senior members of staff from within the firm.
- To be able to analyse reason for issues and follow these thru the systems.
- Detail understanding of the various trading systems and their flows.
