Transaction Reporting – Quality Assurance Manager VP recruitment

Responsibilities:

Reporting into the office of the COO you will be expected to provide day-to-day operational support to the firm’s transaction reporting obligations; monitors, controls and completes quality assurance checks on the integrity of Global Markets transaction reporting. Ensures the daily transaction reporting is submitted in accordance with the FSA reporting deadline;

Establish and monitor systems of control and escalation procedures so that the firm complies with its transaction reporting obligations;

Ensure that appropriate Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s) and Management Information (M.I.) are developed and reviewed at appropriate intervals;

Actively works with the Heads of Global Markets Business lines, Head of Operations and Risk Compliance management;

Reports regularly to Transaction Report Forum (chair) and Operational Risk Committee and other boards / governance committees as required;
Supports a culture of effective challenge and debate to ensure efficiency of transaction reporting operational processes;

Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders including Global Markets business lines, Compliance, Operations and IT. 

Provides regular updates on transaction reporting activities (realized and scheduled).

Proactively communicates and documents any issues arising including steps taken to remediate and resolve problems;

Responsibility for developing and managing relationships with external stakeholders including industry and regulatory bodies, outsourced service providers and vendors. Works with these parties to continuously assess, develop and improve the associated processes controls; 

Point of contact for external vendors; Impendium xTrackter, with responsibility for the distribution of information from the vendors to the internal groups and ensuring that the vendor contracts are kept in line to the services provided;

Monitors and engages in business process and system change impacting EMEA transaction reporting as a result of regulatory change and or new products. Ensure that new product approvals that impact transaction reporting are tested prior to production changes;

Subject Matter Expert (SME) in transaction reporting matters and developments for the firm;

Support the audit of the EMEA transaction reporting process.

Supports other regulatory and business reporting requirements such as trade reporting to BOAT and other requirements from time to time.

Authority and Escalation 
Significant matters escalated to the Chief Operating Officer for Global Markets UK, SSGM EMEA Compliance, IT and Operations as appropriate.
