Champion process improvement efforts with a focus on customer satisfaction, cost reduction, cycle time reduction, and quality improvement. Measure operations using process documentation and Lean Six Sigma techniques. Extract and analyze operational information and perform statistical analysis to identify root causes. Lead data-supported process improvement identification, implementation, and ongoing measurement. Develop operational decision support tools including executive dashboards and leading indicators for continuous process improvement.

The Process Engineering Advisor manages concurrent, complex cross-functional projects with Process Engineering analyst support. A dynamic business environment encourages the use of various Six Sigma approaches (i.e., Lean, WorkOut, Kaizen, DMAIC) to meet the business needs and timelines. They synthesize team members’ varied perspectives into data-supported process improvement recommendations. Provide big-picture business perspective to help align processes with customers. Coordinate the implementation and control efforts to ensure forecasted benefits are achieved and sustained.

The Process Engineering Advisor provides one-on-one coaching and mentoring to project team members and Process Engineering analysts on Six Sigma tools and methodologies, statistical analysis, and project management to internal customers.
BA/BS required. High analytics component preferred: accounting, engineering, math/statistics, or quality management.
• At least 9 years work experience.

• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in process improvement, operations analysis, or systems or logistic engineering.

• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a project environment, including facilitating teams and project analyses.

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification required.

• Advanced level of proficiency as a user of statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, QI Macros).

• Pharmacy Benefits Management or related field operations experience including pharmacy order fulfillment, call center, and clinical is desirable.

• Medicare Part D operations experience including member services, enrollment, call center, and clinical is highly desirable.

• Proven experience leading operational improvement with multi-million dollar annual impact.
• Demonstrated consulting and team facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence.
• Ability to meet deadlines and satisfy customers with multiple and conflicting priorities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional process improvement teams.

• Extensive computer skills including Excel, Visio, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Minitab, Access, and Project.
• Demonstrated ability to apply process engineering and statistics to develop meaningful analysis.
• Knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, Pharmacy Benefits Management industry.
• Knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, Medicare Part D business.
