JAVA/J2EE/J2ME Developer - £35k-£40k - South Wales
My client is a global firm originating from South Wales. Due to a new exciting project taking place, we require an additional Java Developer to join the team of 7 within development.
You will be required to innovate and develop applications with the objective of increasing efficiency and creating competitive advantage. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute solutions to technical and business process problems. You should have a track record of achieving on-time project delivery to specification.
My client will consider people from a post-grad background or more senior people who will ideally have Java programming skills from a financial services background. Salaries on offer are from £25k - £35k per annum.
The right candidate will have;
- Minimum of 1/2 yrs experience in Java / J2 applications on systems design / development, in a commercial environment.
- Experience working with integrated Java development tools (IDEs).
- Strong programming and development skills
- Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced understanding of SQL, Java 4GL
- Good interpersonal skills
- Reasonable knowledge of ERP/CRM/Accounting systems.
