Transfer Agency Specialist, Italian speaker
The team is looking to hire a London-based Associate in charge of providing Shareholder Services support mainly to the Italian Correspondent Banks and Italian Retail Distribution client-base; and coordinating a number of account activities with the team’s internal and external key stakeholders. Working within a dedicated team, the Associate provides a strong contribution to their Shareholder Services’ first-class servicing model, and ensures client satisfaction in a controlled and efficient environment.
This new role will allow them to respond more efficiently to business needs of their Italian client-base.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide account servicing support to their Institutional Investors and Distributors (account opening; assistance in trading; queries and follow-up), and resolve queries on their behalf (EMEA countries)
- Provide shareholder services assistance to internal clients (Account managers; Legal Compliance; Fund accounting Custody; Product development)
- Coordinate query activities with their external vendors
- Be the operational point of contact for Italian Correspondent Banks and Italian Distributors
- Coordination and dissemination of updated offering documentation to Italian Clients
- Maintain the relationship with the Italian market vendors for regulatory/operational updates
- Update of regular files containing share class data for Italian Distributors/Correspondent Banks
- Provide operational assistance to clients and Account Managers during the negotiation of Distribution agreements.
- Liaise with Legal and Funds Development teams for official communications to Italian shareholders
- Onboarding of potential new vendors
- Participate in project implementation (local and global)
- Ongoing review of internal procedures
- Assist with ad hoc queries for clients
Requirements
- Strong Italian Regulatory knowledge
- Fluency in Italian is required
- Transfer Agency experience to include:
- Client Servicing
- Shareholder account registration (AML, KYC)
- Shareholder transactions monitoring
- Subscriptions
- Redemptions
- Transfers
- Switches
- In-kind transfers
- Transactions adjustments / corrections
- Operational oversight (cash management, trade correction, shareholder mailing etc.)
- Strong client relationship skills
- University degree (or equivalent) in business, economics or finance related field
- Proven experience in Financial Services; Fund Operations and/or with an Asset Management client service team
