Towers Watson is a leading global professional services company that helps organisations improve performance through effective people, financial and risk management. With 14,000 associates around the world, we offer solutions in the areas of employee benefit programmes, talent and reward programmes, and risk and capital management.

The Business

As companies struggle to improve business performance, they increasingly expect risk management to support broader financial objectives. Towers Watson understands the crucial link between risk and capital, whether you are an insurer concerned about capital management, a CFO focused on risk management or an investment committee seeking to balance risk and return. As a leading investment consultant, we help organisations manage investment complexity, establish risk tolerance and improve governance.

The Implementation Team is responsible for the efficient implementation of client investment structures and the monitoring of transitions executed by specialist third-party transition managers. Towers Watson has had a transition capability for a number of years, however, in 2007, the Implementation Team was set up with the wider remit to focus on all areas of investment manager structure implementation.

The Role

The core of the implementation role focuses on transition project management, which can involve monitoring relatively simple unit level transactions in pooled vehicles through to complex multiple investment manager and asset class transitions.
