Projects Parsons is actively pursuing contracts and programs with clients who require consulting and design-build expertise in medium and high voltage (69kV+) infrastructure. We are anticipating several new projects that will require experienced Transmission and Substation project managers to join us on a contingency basis, subject to award of work. The projects could be in the Northeast, mid-West or Western United States. Need Parsons is seeking associate, mid-level and senior Project Managers with applicable experience in medium and high voltage (69kV+) infrastructure to join our team on a contingent basis. As projects are awarded, the successful candidates will supervise electric transmission line and substation projects which can encompass new facilities, major additions, or rehabilitation and retrofits of existing infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing scopes of work, analyzing budgets and cost estimates, identifying risks associated with execution of the project, and developing schedule parameters. In addition, you will review engineering, design, and construction deliverables to assure Parsons is meeting client expectations, contractual obligations, and compliance with industry standards and policies. You will be engaged in managing all elements of the project including complex startup and commissioning issues, including safety, permitting, procurement, resource allocation, subcontractors, and client interface. Your ability to promote a culture of teamwork and best practices will be keys to your success. Qualifications - 4 to 25+ years of project and management experience on high voltage (69kV+) infrastructure, preferably with a national consulting practice or directly with a major utility company - Applicable experience in transmission line and substation design-build projects - 4-year degree in Engineering - PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred - Professional registration a plus Parsons offers an ethical, challenging, diverse, rewarding and fun work experience where enthusiastic, responsible people use their energy, talent and dedication to make a difference in the world.
