TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT
We are currently recruiting for a Transportation Assistant to work within the eni trading organisation in London.
The resource will work within the newly created Gas Transportation Manager post providing administrative and analytical support with a specific focus on the UK Market. The role will also involve a close working relationship with the Back Office team in Rome and Gas Ops and the Industrial and Commercial (IC) team in London. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing a series of bespoke reports.
The key responsibilities are:
- Administering transportation invoices, arranging for the approval signatures and then passing them to the Back Office department to ensure timely and accurate payments
- Liaising with the Back Office team to ensure that all invoices are paid on time
- Validating transportation invoices that relate to the Industrial and Commercial customer portfolio
- Validating any other transportation invoices when required
- Recording all transportation invoices and any relevant queries in a methodical way
- Monitoring and reporting on the status of processed transportation invoices
- Preparing routine and ad hoc reports for the Trading Manager
