Title: Travel Application Support Executive, Salary: £24K, Location: West Sussex. Leading Travel Technology organisation is looking for travel Consultant / Operations Executive who has a passion for technology to be trained and work within their Travel Application Support Department.
The responsibilities of the Travel Application Support Executive are as follows: Coordination and administration of all support activities to external and fulfilment organisations; Administration and training of new Clients on products assigned to the role; Test and implement new product features and produce quality documentation; Support Software products and solutions assigned both internally and externally; Management, research, resolution or escalation of issues raised; Conduct acceptance testing of all products assigned to the role; Assist with the coordination, the implementation and roll out of Software solutions to agreed standards; Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of support tools to allow for improved levels of system stability.
The skills required for the Travel Application Support Executive are as follows: Min of 1-2 years travel industry knowledge/experience; Knowledge of reservation, ticketing and admin system within a travel company; Demonstrate understanding of working principles of CRM (Customer Relationship Management); Able to think laterally in solving problems; Able to produce coherent instructions and relative documentation; Comfortable presenting to/meeting with internal staff of all levels; Knowledge of at least one GDS; Sound working knowledge of MS Office Products; PC Products, directory structures and basic DOS commands.
