Travel Services Manager recruitment

This is a regional Travel Management position within CREAS–Corporate Real Estate and Administrative Services, based in Hong Kong and responsible for the day to day supervision of the services provided by the preferred travel management company and associated suppliers within the Asia Pacific region.
The Regional Services Manager will support the Regional Head of Travel, managing the interaction with the regional and global CREAS travel teams as well as interfacing with other logistic and support functions. Engagement of APAC stakeholders, developing and executing the service model to ensure cost efficiencies and traveler satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support Regional Head of Travel in the management of APAC agency services, ensuring consistent traveler experience and service delivery
- Implement and monitor progress of all preferred APAC air travel programs in conjunction with TMC
- Develop strong and pro-active relationship with travel suppliers to ensure that quality services are delivered with regard to the agreed service level agreements.
- Together with SDM, periodically review and, where necessary, assist in re-negotiating SLAs
- Pro-actively challenge and enhance service performance and processes to ensure regional/global standardisation and value
- Assist with developing, execution, delivery monitoring of regional policies and procedures
- Serve as liaison between clients and agency to ensure client satisfaction through efficient and effective issue resolution.
- As part of the Regional Travel Management Team play an active part in developing and implementing cost saving initiatives
- Create ad hoc presentations for regional senior management and global travel
- Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed
Our ideal candidate should have the following requisites:
- 5+ years travel industry experience
- A strong educational background, with experience in travel management and the travel industry
- Understanding of Global and Asia Pacific market dynamics and nuances
- Knowledge and understanding of airfares/construction and ticketing/BSP procedures and GDS with experience of air contract management
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with service programs and proposals
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Project management / change management skills
- Willing to be on call outside of office hours during an emergency situation
- A good team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Good prioritisation and organisational skills, detail oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills – especially Excel and PowerPoint
