Our client based on the outskirts of Gloucestershire is looking for a travel specialist to join their company providing tailor-made holidays for customers. The travel specialist is responsible for the planning, selling and the implementation of itineraries. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about travel and is looking to further their career in the travel industry.
Candidates applying must have in-depth knowledge and travelled to one of the following destination Canada, Africa, India, China, USA, Asia, Australia or New Zealand is essential. Candidate’s applying must have excellent communication skills; written and verbal with the ability to provide excellent customer service to all clients. You must be results orientated and have good problem solving ability. Previous experience in a pressured and targeted environment is essential; within travel would be an advantage.
The main responsibilities of the Travel Specialist are:
- To take full responsibility for the travel of the client by providing a full itinerary which reflects on the clients interests
- Provide quotes
- Remain in contact with clients via telephone, email and face to face
- Provide information on destinations and offering advice and your opinions
- Deliver high level of customer service
- Develop a portfolio of client’s
- Hit and exceed set monthly sales targets
- Attend educational trips and present your findings to your colleagues

Job Title: Travel Specialist
Hours: Monday – Friday – 09:00- 18:00
Salary: £20,500 + uncapped commission OTE £27,000
