Our client is a commercial bank headquartered in the New York metro area. The bank has $2.5 - $4 billion in assets and a network of 40 branches throughout New York and Southern Connecticut and specializes in providing a full range of banking services for individuals, businesses, professional service firms and not-for-profit organizations.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer the Treasurer will actively promote a collaborative relationship with all areas of the bank including credit, lending, audit, risk management, compliance and executive management and will have full responsibility for all treasury activities (Analysis, Operations, Technology, Execution, Reporting, Regulatory) for the bank including:

•                 Balance Sheet Management

•                 Liquidity Management

•                 Funding

•                 Interest Rate Risk Management

•                 Asset / Liability Management – ALCO

•                 Cash Management

•                 Regulatory / Compliance

Qualifications: 10 + years management level treasury experience in banking with hands on exposure to ALM/ALCO, Liquidity, Funding, Balance Sheet Management and regulatory. The successful candidate will have broad exposure to all aspects of bank treasury and will have an in-depth understanding of all reporting and regulatory requirements relative to treasury. Advanced degrees and professional certifications are all a plus.
