Treasury Executive
Our client is a Global Player in Commodities, Energy, Shipping and Diversified Investments. They are looking to hire a dynamic and driven individual to part of the treasury team supporting their Global Clients.
Responsibilities
· Assist with treasury requirements on both funding and cash management (bank financing / payments / encashments);
· Oversee issuance of import documentary credits, standby letters of credit, bank guarantees;
· Provide trade finance support to trading desks to sell down counterpart / bank / country risks;
· Source fee quotes and negotiate rates with banks to ensure charges are competitive and correct;
· Work closely with Logistics / Control / Accounts Teams and subsidiaries in Asia in the preparation of reports (ad hoc, daily, weekly, monthly) to local management / Head Office Treasury;
· Assist in design and implementation of treasury aspects of MIS systems
The ideal candidate should possess either a recognized Diploma or Degree with 2 - 4 years of relevant working experience. Good understanding of LC documentation and experience in a shipping company would be ideal. Able to work in fast pace environment and handling huge volume; able to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work independently.
