Treasury Operations Clerk of LC, LG and Loans, Abu Dhabi recruitment
The ideal candidate will be responsible for checking, preparing and handling all documents in respect of L/C and L/G applications.
Responsibilities:
- Issue No Liability Certificates to customers who have settled all their liabilities to the bank.
- Pass necessary contingency tickets in order to make necessary entries to update bank’s exposure line.
- Receive items received unpaid, debit customer’s account for charges and reverse memorandum entries.
- Check tickler file daily for maturities or commission for automatic renewals, guarantees and cancellations.
- Receive liquidation memos from dealer and verify maturity ticklers on a daily basis for liquidating outstanding on due dates.
- Prepare settlement advice/payment telex and release documents to customer after acceptance of all relevant documents.
- Advice Letter of Credit to beneficiary, collect commission, receive as well as forward document to issuing bank in order to claim reimbursement.
Requirements:
- University degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
- Technical knowledge and skills with regard to UCP 500, URC 522 and URG 458.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Commercial Services Department of a bank in the GCC.
- Must be currently based in Abu Dhabi.
- Fluency in English is essential.
