Treasury Risk Management Leader

Our Client is an innovative and successful organisation operating on a global basis within the food drink industry. As part of their continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Treasury Risk Manager.

This is a wide and varied specialist role with a strategic focus and management of all Group Treasury risks in order to protect the company’s assets and maximise efficiencies within the Group risk management framework.

This role would suit an individual from an industry or practice background looking for their next career opportunity within a progressive organisation. As mentioned, the scope of the role is varied and has a number of key areas of responsibility:

• Develop and execute the strategy for treasury risk management, including the identification of financial risk across the business, the generation of mitigating actions (including any natural hedge opportunities) and bringing appropriate proposals for consideration to the Treasury Committee.

• Develop sophisticated and insightful treasury risk management reporting in order to highlight financial risks, sensitivities and dependencies across the business.

• Manage the global funding position in order to minimise overall borrowing requirements while ensuring adequate cash availability at entity level to meet local requirements. Develop strategies in co-ordination with Group Tax to optimise these positions.

• Ensure the Group has access to sufficient and appropriate tax efficient funding to support the business requirements through managing all external funding relationships and actively developing new relationships.

• Applies an in-depth understanding of treasury risk for the business and works in partnership with the business to understand how these risks can best be mitigated, utilising external networks when appropriate to keep abreast of standards and best practice.

• Manage Group insurance requirements to ensure that this reflects a global approach and that appropriate risks are identified and mitigated whilst ensuring value for money by optimising the level of cover.

• Develop and deliver global cash flow forecasting across the business to enable effective cash management and deliver consolidated cash flow reporting requirements to meet Group timetables,

• Lead, motivate and develop the Treasury Analyst in line with Company Values to maximise employee engagement and performance.
