Description
Job Purpose:
To assist management of Monitoring in maintaining a comprehensive monitoring programme.
Responsibilities:
Monitor all aspects of the management of Collective Investment Schemes for which the Bank acts as Trustee/Depositary.
Monitor all aspects of the management of Unauthorised Unit Trusts for which the Bank acts as Trustee.
Perform monthly pricing reconciliation reviews ensuring unit/share price is correct within FSA guidelines.
Assist in resolving queries/technical issues where appropriate.
Check investments are within limits as defined by FSA regulations, prospectus/scheme particulars and Trust Deeds.
Participate as part of a team in inspection for Regulatory Compliance, at the offices of Managers, Administrators and Registrars.
Complete report and accounts, and periodic audit letter in accordance with Fund ex-dates.
Review any obligations entered into by Fund Managers.
Maintain a breaches register.
Utilisation of technology to enhance monitoring facilities and improve value added output for client base.
Implement procedures as required.
The jobholder is required to support the disciplines and cultures of Investors in People.
