Role Summary:

This is a client facing role (in person, telephone and email) which is hugely important in the client life cycle as implementation for a client is the first opportunity BNY Mellon has to deliver on its promises. A well-executed implementation can provide considerable opportunity to grow the relationship further. The main purpose of this role is to manage EMEA client expectations in relation to the requirements of KYC and Compliance whilst ensuring time to revenue is minimised, external regulatory conditions are met and internal requirements are complied with in a timely manner.

Onboarding Treasury Services Clients

- Ensuring clients are on boarded to BNYM Products and Services in a timely and accurate manner

- Provide dedicated implementation project support to new TS EMEA clients incremental products for existing clients

- Provide single point of contact for Sales Officer to handover client to, once KYC is completed and any credit requirements are in place.

- Cover all TS EMEA clients across all products (both Cash and Trade)

- Implementation Officers based in other regions during absence

Providing efficient administrative support to the team will also be a pivotal part of the role. Production of Implementation dashboard for own region, responsible of regularly updating personal cash non-cash implementation dashboards in the SharePoint drive

Qualifications

Essential Skills Experience:

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload independently

Demonstrates a drive for continuous improvement

Good level of negotiation skills. Ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders within the business in order to reach a mutually agreeable solution for internal and external clients

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrable ability to craft frequent, professional and concise email correspondence to clients on a variety of matters

Operational Treasury/Payments background, sound knowledge of the KYC and Compliance environment in relation to Transaction Banking, direct client facing experience, project management skills

Desirable Skills Experience:

Business fluency in any European language would be beneficial

Direct Client facing working experience with Banks and NBFIs, working knowledge of Treasury Products (Cash Trade), and of relevant industry initiatives and standards.
