TS Technology – Business Systems Analyst – Officer / AVP – Based in Bournemouth recruitment

TS Core Technology/Analysis TeamTS International Technology is a global technology organization that is responsible for Cash Management systems processing for international Treasury Services branches in EMEA, Asia LATAM.
The department is responsible for the support and development of Low and High Value payments systems, including local clearing interfaces for these branches, as well as CLS and a number of global utilities, SWIFT and OFAC.
The TS International Technology team is based in Bournemouth, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tampa and San Paulo.
Treasury Services has a global Client base.
The TS Core Analysis Team is based entirely in Bournemouth.
Key Responsibilities:Business and technical analysis on a variety of projects relating to TS Core Mainframe High Value and Low Value Clearing applicationsDevelopment and documentation of clear Functional and Non-Functional Requirements for handover to Technical AD team and walkthrough with other key project stakeholdersLiaison with business partners to assist in the creation of high quality documented business requirementsAssess new business requests
- work with architects/BA/AD teams to find workable solutions, and provide effort estimates for theseProvide consultancy to application developers and testers throughout subsequent
project development life-cycle phases

Qualifications
Essential:Excellent Business analysis/Functional analysis skills, with 5 years experienceExcellent communication skills both written and verbal, including ability to communicate across all levelsGood Problem solving skills and attention to detailThe ability to understand business concepts and be able to relate them to technical solutionsPrevious experience in a mainframe environment with some technical skills including the ability to read understand program code in NATURAL and/or COBOL
Previous experience and understanding following a development lifecycle such as PDFAbility to manage own day to day workload, and ensure delivery to required deadlinesDesirable:Formal industry qualifications an advantage (e.g. ISEB)Previous banking experience especially relating to a payments environment (Clearing systems, SWIFT, DDA)Ability to effectively coach other/junior team membersJ.P.
