TSS & WSS EMEA Functions – Internal Communications Manager – VP – Based in London recruitment

The TSS Communications team in EMEA includes internal communications, media relations and WSS marketing.

The internal communications members of the team are responsible for:Implementing the global employee communications strategy for TSS in EMEA, adapting where necessary to regional needs.Helping EMEA-based senior management develop and deliver communications programs specifically designed for the various TSS businesses in this region.Working with the Investment Bank and other line of business internal communications team to ensure cross line of business and corporate information is articulated and distributed to TSS employees in the region.Role summary:Reporting to and working with the head of TSS Communications in EMEA, the candidate will:Plan, develop and execute an internal communication plan for senior EMEA-based executives in TSS functional teams (finance, HR, recruiting, training, diversity, etc) and in WSS Product and Markets teams.
Develop and implement regional internal communications that support TSS' and WSS' business goals and people agenda, including executive communications, organisational announcements, town halls, articles for internal communications channels, and others.Establish relationships with TSS and WSS executives and colleagues, as well as colleagues from other lines of business over the course of projects to ensure expectations are established and met.Work with other Internal Communications functions to deliver integrated, regionally specific and globally coordinated communications that help keep employees better informed about their business, its strategy and their role in fulfilling it.Primary responsibilities include:Taking the lead in producing written communications (articles, emails, etc) for all internal communication vehicles (TSS E-News, TSS Intranet, Ink) for TSS functional and WSS executives in
EMEA.Taking the lead in managing content and logistics for relevant Town Hall meetings and senior level employee skip-level meetings.Acting as a source of regional TSS and, where appropriate, cross-business information in TSS corporate communications vehicles.Editing all written materials, including all drafts of articles/emails/other communications that come from London-based team members, to J.P. Morgan's style and to a high standard requiring little or no additional editing.Working in coordination with team members to deliver broadcast and targeted business messages.

Qualifications
Critical skills / Experience required:Experience
in Corporate Communications or similar roles.Experience in transaction banking or in other financial services businesses.Extensive experience working directly with senior level executives to support their internal communications activities.Proven ability to produce large quantities of journalistic-quality written communication in J.P. Morgan style, quickly and assuredly, and requiring little or no editing. We will look for previously published work, such as articles, theses, or internal communications portfolios.Superior written and oral communication skills required.Must be a self-starter and able to work autonomously, while also being a team player to work well cross-functionally.Experience in conceptual thinking and framing of issues is a must.The ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects in an environment that includes frequent and varying deadlines.Must be flexible and able to re-prioritize depending on business needs.Must be able to present ideas in a concise manner and be able to prepare effective written material as needed.Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project, use of Microsoft Outlook, Intranet and Internet software programsAbility to work effectively with regional and global TSS and Corporate Media Relations, Marketing, and Internal Communications teams in Europe, New York and Asia.Ability immediately to establish good working relationships with TSS business and HR managers to extract important information and work with them to turn around iterative business communications quickly.Ability to work with colleagues of all levels from senior executives as well as support staff.About J.P.Morgan Treasury Securities ServicesTreasury Securities Services (TSS) generates more than $8 billion in revenue annually and is a global leader in custody, securities lending, fund accounting and administration, as well as in treasury services.
