Job Description Job Classification: Direct Hire -***BECAUSE THIS POSITION IS IN DIRECT SUPPORT OF A FEDERAL INTEGRATOR, AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET SCI CLEARANCE AND SECURITY+ IS REQUIRED**** TEKsystems has partnered with a large Federal Integrator in direct support of the Naval Criminal Instigative Service in Quantico, VA. Our client has been awarded a long term, five-year contract. TEKsystems is in need of an Exchange Administrator with heavy VMware and Active Directory experience to support a growing initiative for the NCIS. The group in Quantico is in support of NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service). This system keeps track of all Military investigations and to provide them with reports of the investigations. There are 10,000 users worldwide of this application, so the reliability and success of this program is imperative. The candidates responsibilities are to establish and maintain user accounts, assign file permissions and establish password and account policies; installs, upgrades, configures, tests, maintains and supports operating system software in a production environment. Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. They will review performance logs and monitor system performance. Troubleshoot and resolve system hardware, software and communications problems; Install, configure and test software packages. Provides user support and may conduct user software and hardware training to formulate technology solutions and ensure the effective safeguarding and sharing of enterprise data. Performs daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary. Additional Job Info - Maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010. - Maintaining and troubleshooting Citrix XenApp, Published Desktop, Published Applications, and Virtual Desktop environments. - Supporting a VMware environment with ESXi 4.1 and ESXi 5.0 hosts and provisioning/maintaining Virtual Machines in that environment. -Extensive Active Directory experience to include maintaining an AD structure, constructing and applying Group Policies, running and analyzing RSOP results, utilizing Delegated Control permissions, etc. - Familiar with DISA STIGs to include the Gold Disk, manual Security Checklists, and troubleshooting issues that are caused by STIG settings. - Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). -Familiarity with HBSS and how it affects an operating environment.
