Two Senior HR Business Partners: Wholesale & International and Global Wealth (Asset Management & Private Banking) this role is based in the UAE

They provide their customers with a wide variety of financial services targeting all segments of the consumer and corporate markets in addition to private banking, asset management, capital markets and investment banking.
The Role
- To build a positive and mutually beneficial working relationships between the Business and the HR Group; the role will be the principal interface with the SGM and his direct reports
- To meet the expectations of the senior management of the business as far as the management of people is concerned especially on recruitment and resource management, performance career management and day-to-day employment advice drawing on current best practice
Job Context/Dimensions
- Operates with a high degree of autonomy but with the delegated authority of the Group Head of HR Business Relationships to whom he/she reports.
- The post holder will be seen as the Group’s own point of reference in all matters relating to the people and organisation management of the business
Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the trust and confidence of SGM/GM and his directs
- Build and sustain working relationships with all personnel in the relevant group
- Become the first point of contact for the group’s personnel when dealing with HRG
- Draw upon the specialist resources in HRG (Compensation, Learning, Emiratisation, Policy) as appropriate in order to provide the best available advice
- Prepare the resource plan in partnership with SGM/GM and senior management, update quarterly
- Manage the annual performance management program and provide support as necessary.
- Meet with the senior group managers on regular basis to discuss and review local HR issues.
- Make a presentation to the SGM/GM and his direct reports, each quarter, to appraise them of the HRG’s activities and short to mid term plans and the impact, if any, on the relationship between HRG and the group
- Work with the business to meet the Emiratisation targets
- Develop Health check report for each business function to include Key Talent, Succession Planning, Organisation Effectiveness, Retention of High Performers and Management of under performers
- Develop training/career development plan for direct reports especially the UAEN staff
- Ensure that Recruitment SLA KPIs are met by the team.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years experience in an HR function with some time spent in a management or liaison role
- An HR Generalist who has specialised.
- Of overriding importance is the maturity and personality of the individual which must enable him/her to quickly establish the trust and confidence of the HR Group and senior management
We are ideally looking for someone from the London/European or maybe Far Eastern markets that will be open to working in the UAE.
