UBS FICC Revenue Reporting recruitment
This role fits within the IB Business Controlling Reporting (IB BCR) FICC team. IB BCR is a function which provides relevant, accurate and timely reporting, analytics and advisory on business performance.
Based in London, the position is integral to the Global IB BCR FICC team which is responsible for providing high quality value-added management information and performance analysis to the Global FICC Business to support tactical and strategic decision making.
The global team of FTE14 is based across 5 locations and works in close collaboration with the Global FICC COO office, Senior FICC COO's and Business Managers, FICC Product Control, IB CEO Management Office, Treasury Analytics and wider IB Business Controlling Reporting team.
By working very closely with the functional team head, this position offers the right individual the opportunity to play a pivotal role in meeting all key FICC business support and reporting deliverables.
Aspects of the role includes (and not limited to):
• Onshore review of daily FICC PL
• Preparing month end revenue estimates throughout the close process
• Supporting the global FICC commentary process
• Shaping and reviewing external messages for FICC quarterly performance
• Revenue forecast submissions (on a rolling basis)
• Support to the annual planning cycle
• Monthly FICC EC financials pack preparation and review
• Review integrity of SIF London and EMEA Risk Committee financials
• Preparation of quarterly commentary for the London Branch Oversight Committee (LBOC)
• Support to the MI central FICC reporting team to mitigate key man dependency
• Support of benchmarking and competitor analysis requests
• Adhoc analysis prepared for senior management in Finance or the FICC business in the form of powerpoint presentations
• Working closely with the wider IB BC Reporting FICC team to ensure consistency of approach and output
• Adhoc support for the Global team head
• The candidate should possess strong people and analytical skills in addition to a strong accounting background, preferably gained in an Investment Bank financial control environment.
• Present information in a manner that raises questions and highlights areas of importance
• Attention to detail is a prerequisite
• Applying techniques/best practice to present analysis to a professional standard in powerpoint presentation format to senior management
• Experience of writing revenue commentary/analysis
• Demonstrating full understanding of professional, ethical and legal standards.
