Reporting to the Fund Trading Manger, supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the trade function and management of the trading team for specified US $ money market clients. Deals with the customers of the clients. Develops and retain strong understanding of full TA operational process for clients. Oversees the administrators work to ensure it is completed in a timely and accurate fashion within agreed deadlines and provides appropriate cross training across all fund types to maximize productivity. Provides, guides, and keeps administrators abreast of BNYM standard procedures and controls in accordance with TA Department procedure manual. Provides input into performance appraisal process. Ensure full familiarity with all system functions and capabilities required to service clients business as required and liaise with systems support on any additional functional developments that may be required from time to time. Oversees and ensures all reports, queries, trade inputs, projects and assignments are signed off by appropriate parties, entered into various systems, processed, dispatched and communicated in a timely and accurate manner. Acts as liaison with clients, fund managers and valuation departments to make sure all queries are resolved and all cash availability and prediction reports are completed and reconciled. Escalate any issues or discrepancies to management. Assist in coordination of weekly MIS from within your team. Ensure that projects allocated by Manager/Department Head are completed in a timely accurate fashion within deadlines set.

Qualifications

HS diploma and or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred and 2-5 years of financial experience with team lead or go to experience. Excellent customer service/focus skills, Good follow up, ability to operate under deadlines and in fast paced environment. Leadership/supervisory skills a plus. PC skills and appropriate applications. Detail oriented and excellent organization, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
