UK Client Liaison Analyst – CRM Team recruitment

To strengthen our London team we require a candidate with previous institutional client focused experience from a middle office environment. Our UK Client Liaison team provide a first class support structure for the Client Relationship Managers (CRMs). The Client Relationship teams work together and are responsible for developing and managing the relationship with UK institutional clients. CRMs provide clients with a principal point of contact for all aspects of our service and new business development. The teams manage the bulk of the UK client relationships. The role has strong connections to the pensions industry, with a focus on client service and fund sales in the UK.
Duties will include (and not limited to):
- Act as a first point of contact for a wide variety of queries and requests from clients, consultants, custodians and internal departments
- Attend client meetings
- Co-ordinate the client on boarding process
- Manage client deadlines and expectations
- Support colleagues from a range of teams to respond accordingly, following further individual research if so required
- Complete periodic team tasks such as cash management, pooled fund deals
- Use good judgement regarding when to inform management/fund directors/ compliance team of issues arising and be responsible for your own individual deadlines
- Have a good knowledge of UBS product range and be able to highlight cross selling opportunities where appropriate
Role requirements:
- Previous relevant Client Services/Reporting/Liaison experience from an Asset Management or Hedge Fund environment with exposure to the Corporate pensions industry.
- Ideally already be in a client facing role and have a solid understanding of the product ranges available to UK Institutional/Corporate clients.
- High levels of business writing and communication ability - must be able to communicate confidently and clearly with clients.
- Ability to prioritise, adapt and work independently on a wide variety of tasks, according to tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail, proactive in identifying and delivering to client needs
- Excellent MS Office skills – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
