UK Funds Administration Ops specialist

The main task is to work with this team to identify and document all operational procedures and processes required to support UK OEICS and Unit Trusts. A similar task may be required on the Transfer Agency side however our need in this area is still being examined.
In support of the above FA tasks, it will be necessary to conduct the following:
*Review of proposed operating model and support fine tuning of the model
*Review of proposed system changes from a functional perspective
*Workshop facilitation and engagement with SGSS centres of excellence (Dublin, Luxembourg)
*Preparation of reports and detailed analysis
*Preparation of detailed procedure documentation (PPPs)
oNAV calculation
oFinancial/Legal reporting
oRegulatory reporting
*Knowledge transfer to operational and analytical teams

Key Skills:
A working knowledge of UK Fund Administration, gained over 5+ yrs, from an operational perspective is required. The ideal candidate is likely to have been responsible for the day to day running of related teams. Been responsible for the submission of legal and regulatory reports and seen through to delivery a number of regulatory changes.

Specific knowledge of the following areas is required:
-Fund Administration - UK Funds (OEICS, Unit Trusts)
-Regulatory reporting
-Financial (tax) reporting
-Legal (long/short) reporting

Additional knowledge in the following areas is favourable but not mandatory
-Transfer Agency
-Draft published regulatory changes
oInc AIFMD
-Depository and Trustee services
-Sungard GP3 system
-MultiFonds MFTA system
