UK & Ireland Finance Manager
My client, a global pharmaceutical company, is currently setting up a new division and is looking to recruit a high calibre senior finance professional to become the UK Ireland Finance Manager.
Reporting to the European Controller the role will manage a small team and will be responsible for following:
- Control the month end close process, deadlines, timetable etc
- All compliance, Sarbanes controls, internal and external audit liaison
- CT600 tax, Statutory Accounts, Government statistics, VAT (outsourced)
- Approver for interactions with Healthcare Professionals (ABPI Code)
- Intercompany recharges
- Month end review, accruals and prepayments
- Interface with Shared Services Centre (AP/AR/FA/TE/GL)
- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual corporate reporting
- Insurance requirements/Fleet manager
- Support as required to North Europe Controller/Planning and Reporting Manager
- Team leadership and staff development
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with very strong technical skills, be highly IT literate and have proven people management experience.
