UK; Senior Finance Manager – Life Insurer. recruitment

My client is actively seeking a Senior Finance Manager, reporting to the Head of Central Finance and will be responsible for responsible for the management accounting, reporting, planning and analysis and the expense management processes.

The role will manage financial closing process, ensuring a robust control environment is maintained, and provide key support to the Head of Central Finance and the team during the planning and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA accountant with significant experience of the financial closing process, demonstrated by the delivery of management accounts and analysis for a Group of companies.

• Experience of the budgeting and forecasting processes, including financial modelling and analysis.

• Experienced people manager with excellent prioritisation, communication and presentation skills in order to deliver financial information to numerous stakeholders in both France and the UK.

• Strong analytical skills and a good grasp of fundamental accounting principles including familiarity with UK GAAP accounting.

• Experience of statutory financial reporting would also be an advantage.
