Omnicom has its European headquarters in London, with approximately 50 people in finance, treasury, real estate and tax roles.  This particular role presents an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic person with an interest in taxation to join the high-calibre and forward-thinking UK tax team of this large, multi-national group. 

The right candidate will be challenged by and learn from the commercial and technical aspects of this role, whilst being supported by colleagues in his/her professional development.  Study support for professional qualifications will also be available after 12 months.

Specific duties:

·         Responsible for preparing certain UK tax computations

·         Assisting with other compliance matters as needed

·         Assisting with researching tax technical points

·         Assisting other members of the tax team with various tasks and ad hoc projects as needed

Essential qualities:

·         Minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree

·         Minimum 280 UCAS Tariff points (22 points if using the old scale)

·         Minimum grade B in Maths and English at GCSE level

·         Comfortable working with numbers

·         Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

·         Good problem-solving skills

·         Attention to detail

·         Enthusiastic attitude to work

·         Commitment to studying for a professional tax or accountancy qualification

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

·         Ability to speak and write in another European language will be an advantage
