Project Geologist
8:6 Roster. FIFO Townsville / Cairns
International Copper producer
Permanent position. ASAP start
Excellent opportunity to establish yourself within an international copper producer. Due to increased growth they are seeking a skilled Project Geologist to join their North West QLD site.
Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will play a vital part in planning and supervising the underground diamond drilling programs in order maximise recovery and production.
Accountabilities also include data collection and entry, assisting in the construction of geological and mineralisation computer models and managing the drill contractors to ensure a safe work environment.
To be successful you will need to be degree qualified and hold a minimum 3+ years experience in underground mine geology (Hard Rock) with any exploration experience being a plus.
A high degree of motivation, excellent communication skills and strong commitment to teamwork is essential.
This is a FIFO role from Cairns /Townsville on an 8:6 roster offering substantial lifestyle opportunities, excellent staff facilities and fantastic career progression.
