Reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager, you will be primarily responsible for effective mine planning achieved through:
- Coordination and continuous improvement of the geological functions
- The achievement of short and long-term business objectives
- Providing Strong leadership
- Ensuring a safe, reliable and cost efficient operation
Ideally you will be a tertiary qualified Mine Geologist with numerous years experience in Underground Coal geological modelling, preferably with practical knowledge of software (e.g. MINEX, Vulcan). You will display initiative and have well developed communication skills in both the written and verbal formats.
