We are searching for a motivated and ambitious Underwriter to join our Yorba Linda Branch. The candidate must have a minimum of 4 years' current underwriting experience (within past 12 months).
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Minimum of 4 years’ recent conventional underwriting experience in a wholesale environment (no subprime).
- Strong knowledge in “A” Paper, FNMA/FHLM, (FHA/VA programs beneficial but not required).
- 4 years AUS experience.
- Must be well versed in DU and LP.
- Working knowledge of “DataTrac” is advantageous.
- Demonstrate high volume productivity.
- Must be detail oriented, organized and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- The ability to learn quickly, apply newly acquired knowledge and training, and work well in a team environment is required.
- Demonstrate an OUTSTANDING level of customer service skills.
- Work independently and be “self-motivated”.
