Underwriting Supervisor of Commercial Lines, UAE recruitment
The ideal candidate will be responsible for underwriting risks within the authority limits and criteria delegated by the Regional Office.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the annual renewal process in conjunction with the underwriting team.
- Oversee the day to day activities of the Underwriting Executives and Underwriting Assistants.
- Coordinate and execute the timely production and issuance of commercial insurance policies and related supporting documentation.
- Ensure that all risks are underwritten within the framework of company’s underwriting philosophy, policy, authority limits and procedures.
Requirements:
- Tertiary level education required, preferably holding diploma in Insurance and ideally with ACII / AII or equivalent professional qualifications.
- At least 5+ years underwriting experience in the insurance industry in the GCC.
- A broad knowledge of underwriting and risk management.
