Immediate Expense Accountant – Leading Insurance Firm recruitment

One of the leading Insurance companies with offices worldwide are currently seeking a readily available part qualified expenses reporting accountant with the ability to demonstrate initiative and work in a team. Working as part of the Financial Assurance Team you will be responsible for supporting both the IT Change functions of the company.
Reporting to the Business Partner Manager your main responsibilities will include,
· Assisting the planning and reporting processes of the team
· Completion of month end activities and engagement with the client functions (primarily with IT).
· Assist with the balance sheet reporting and control
· Development of reporting solutions for the actuals and forecasting processes
· You may be required to assist in the development of technical solutions to support budgeting and reporting requirements (in specific areas)
· You will also be required to provide some operational and functional support for the budgeting and forecasting cycle
· Assisting with the examination of existing procedures for potential streamlining opportunities and improvement
Ideal candidates will be part qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent and will have advanced Excel skills including macros and some VBA knowledge. Candidates must also have the ability to manage large volumes of complex data and present it in a user friendly manner. Previous experience of Oracle and TM1 will be extremely beneficial within this role and candidates must hold strong attention to details. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to to prioritise your time management whilst also multi-tasking.
